Product Description
The compression fittings (brass pex fitting) are among the most popular fittings for PEX pipe or PEX-AL-PEX pipes. This tubing usually comes with two rubber O-rings positioned over the barbs. Each one includes an insert that goes inside the tubing, a compression ring that is split diagonally, and a compression nut. The insert goes inside the tubing and the compression ring on the outside with the compression nut over it. This is the only form of PEX fitting that does not require a special compression tool. All you have to do is use a wrench or pliers and tighten the nut over the compression ring. As the ring is tightened, the diagonal cut closes forming a compressed ring.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tools are required for installing compression fittings?
Unlike other PEX fittings, compression fittings do not require specialized crimping or expansion tools. You only need a standard wrench or pliers to tighten the compression nut.
Are these fittings suitable for both water and gas applications?
Yes, these brass compression fittings are designed for use in water heating and gas systems, providing a reliable and leak-proof connection.
What materials are used in the construction of these fittings?
The nut, body, and cut-ring are made from high-quality CW617N or HPb 58-3A brass, and the O-rings are made from durable EPDM for enhanced sealing.
Can these fittings be reused or recycled?
Yes, the design allows them to be easily disassembled with a spanner, and the brass material can be recycled, making them an environmentally friendly choice.
What sizes are available for these compression fittings?
We offer a wide range of sizes including 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 25mm, 26mm, and 32mm to fit various piping requirements.
How does the compression mechanism work?
As the compression nut is tightened, it forces the diagonally split compression ring to close around the tubing, creating a secure, high-pressure resistant seal.
