Product Description

The compression fittings (brass pex fitting) are among the most popular fittings for PEX pipe or PEX-AL-PEX pipes. This tubing usually comes with two rubber O-rings positioned over the barbs. Each fitting includes an insert that goes inside the tubing, a compression ring that is split diagonally, and a compression nut.

The insert goes inside the tubing and the compression ring on the outside with the compression nut over it. This is the only form of PEX fitting that does not require special compression tools. All you have to do is use a wrench or pliers and tighten the nut over the compression ring. As the ring is tightened, the diagonal cut closes, forming a secure compressed ring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What materials are used in these compression fittings?

Our fittings are made from high-quality CW617N or HPb 58-3A Brass for the body, nut, and cut-ring, while the O-rings are made from durable EPDM for optimal sealing.

Q2: Do I need special tools for installation?

No, one of the main advantages of these compression fittings is that they only require a standard wrench or pliers to tighten the nut, eliminating the need for expensive specialized tools.

Q3: What applications are these fittings suitable for?

These fittings are versatile and designed for use in water heating, gas systems, and floor heating applications using PEX or PEX-AL-PEX pipes.

Q4: What sizes are available for the compression fittings?

We offer a full range of sizes including 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 25mm, 26mm, and 32mm to accommodate various piping requirements.

Q5: How do these fittings prevent leakage?

The design includes two rubber O-rings on the barbs and a split compression ring. When the nut is tightened, the ring compresses around the pipe, creating a double-sealed, leak-proof joint.

Q6: Are the brass fittings recyclable?

Yes, the brass material is fully recyclable, making these fittings an environmentally friendly choice for modern construction and plumbing projects.
